College Rules and Discipline

  1. The college gives utmost priority for discipline. Everyone, student or staff, must follow the rules and regulations and maintain strict discipline.
  2. Under disciplinary action, the principal is empowered to fine, suspend, or even expel a student in the interests of the institution.
  3. Students are not permitted to possess or use mobile phones inside the college campus.
  1. Browsing is not allowed during lab hours.
  2. Staff and students are not allowed to misuse internet facilities.
  1. No one is allowed to listen to music from any device inside the college campus.
  2. Every student shall conduct themselves in such a way as to cause no disturbance to the classes or fellow students.
  3. Ragging, consuming alcohol, and smoking are strictly prohibited in the hostel and college campus.
  1. No function shall be arranged in the hostel or college campus without prior permission from the principal.
  2. Students are not allowed to exchange greeting cards, photographs, gift articles, or letters with students of the opposite sex.
  3. Writing on walls, pillars, bathrooms, furniture, or blackboards is strictly prohibited.
  4. Students must not remain in the hostel during class hours unless they are sick and permitted to be on leave.
  1. Eating snacks or taking lunch inside the classrooms or along corridors is not permitted.
  2. The cost of any damage caused to college property will be charged to the accounts of the responsible students, in addition to disciplinary action.
  3. Students are advised to switch off fans and lights when leaving the classrooms.
  4. Classroom furniture should not be moved or displaced.
  5. Students are not allowed to attend classes or college functions wearing shorts, dhotis, jeans, or T-shirts.
  1. Students must bring necessary items like hall tickets, admit cards, pens, pencils, calculators, scales, etc., to the exam hall.
  2. Students must sit through the entire period scheduled for internal tests and university exams.
  3. If a student continues to perform poorly in internal tests and maintains poor attendance, the principal may withhold permission for them to write university exams.
  1. No one is allowed to whistle, hoot, shout, or sing aloud while traveling on the bus.
  2. Students are also not allowed to throw papers or other articles while traveling.
